Kicking off 2023

In September 2022, after weeks upon weeks of grueling and relentless hours editing my back list, I promised myself I would dance my way into 2023.

That’s exactly what I did.

I was on a writing retreat in December in paradise (aka a Caribbean island) and I danced the night away on the 31st of the December in shorts, a sleeveless top, and flip-flops until 2 o’clock in the morning on the 1st of January.

I hope you welcomed the new year with a bang!

A new year. Twelve more months that will age you…

In 2022, I didn’t publish any new books. Why?

I’m sure you must’ve noticed I sent fewer newsletters in 2022 and I published exactly zero new books.

I wrote one new book. I planned on writing four last year. And, I planned on publishing five books in 2022.

Other than the one book I wrote (Book 3 of the Very New York Billionaires series), I didn’t reach any of the other goals I set for myself.

Why?

After writing Book 3 of the Very New York Billionaires series, I decided to go back to the Billionaire Factor series and give it a read because there are crossovers between the characters from that series with the Very New York Billionaires series.

I figured it would take me 4 to 6 weeks. Tops.

I never expected I would still be editing my back list.

That’s what happens when your books are over 100,000 words on average.

That said, 2022 was a growth year for me as an author.

I rewrote Bryce’s story.

I rewrote Max’s story.

I rewrote a good chunk of Hunter (Billionaire’s Infatuation).

I rewrote a good chunk of Nikolaj’s story.

I thoroughly reedited Nikolaj’s wedding books, Easton, Billionaire’s Indulgence.

It’s amazing how trends change and certain things that were popular in the entertainment/music world a few years ago are now obsolete. Same for technology.

I’m currently reediting the last series I’ve not yet rebranded (Amelia’s book. Charlie’s book. Delilah’s book). I’ll have new kickass covers coming soon!

In the midst of all of that editing, I had to get the three books of the upcoming series ready.

In between 2023 releases, my editor will help me tackle the Hotshots and the Moguls. This year, I plan on writing you a books. I have to keep the stories coming!

That said, by the end of 2023, I’ll have multiple series ready for translation and audiobooks!

Yay!

2023. New Year. More billionaires.

The plan is to introduce you to five HAWT billionaires this year.

I also plan on finishing the Very New York Billionaires series.

The Very New York Billionaires series wasn’t supposed to be a series, but now that I have three books, I will round it out to six.

Once that’s done, I’ll start plotting the Dennisons’s stories. They won’t be published this year, but I promise, you’ll get stories. Larkin’s story is coming, but not for a bit. That said, Larkin will be featured in many of the other books.

Discrete covers

It’s hard to ignore the influence Tik Tok has on authors.

I’ll have discreet covers for the upcoming series that I’ll start releasing in February. I will also have discreet covers for the Moguls for Gage’s release. The hot man paperback cover will be available as well, but for those who read paperbacks as the commute and want to keep it discreet they have a dirty mind and enjoy smut, the alternative covers will be available.

Let’s keep this between us…

I’m not going to waste your time telling you the upcoming books (and the billionaires) for 2023 are hot, because it’s a given, but I’ll share a little secret…

Drum roll…

I fucking love the five billionaires you’re going to meet this year. Hudson (Very New York Billionaires), Gage (Moguls), and Rhett (Summerville, Texas billionaire) are three heroes you’ll fall in love with because their tormented pasts shaped them into the overprotective men they are today. Xavier and Zane are as delicious as their cousin Max.

You’re going to fall head over heels for theses alpha billionaires.

Be prepared for some major book hangover. And no, I’m not sorry.

In the meantime…

We’re still a few weeks away before releasing the first book of 2023, but in the meantime, if you need your Scarlett Avery fix, the Billionaire Factor series is the last one I reediting/rewrote.
