Sexy as Sin Alpha Billionaires. Red-Hot Passion.

Hello, sexy readers!

It’s been a while

I’m sure most of you think I move to the Moon.

Nope, I’ve been deep inside my writing cave.

Before I go any further, I want to thank all the wonderful readers who wish me a Happy Birthday on July 30.

Thanks for making my special day even more special!!!

It was a relaxing day, and I went a little crazy because… I was off social media for two full days!

Yay, me!

A second thing, I’m late at the party, but I finally watched Avengers:Endgame.

Clearly, I’m part of the minority. I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would. I’m not a big fan of time travel, so that dampened my experience. Some scenes during the big fight felt forced and a little too choreographed. I was rolling my eyes.

Also, I didn’t expect the dramatic ending.

I read online some people saying the ending was obvious and predictable. Apparently, it was set up in the third movie, Avengers: Infinity War. That went way over my head because I didn’t catch on.

Speaking of Avengers:Infinity War, it’s my absolute favorite.

In any case, I can’t wait to see what else Marvel comes up with.

Back to my writing cave.

I was a little—okay, a LOT—tied up…

You must be wondering why you haven’t heard for me in so many weeks?

One word. Bryce.

After editing Book 3 of the Very New York Billionaire series (Hudson), I Felt I had a really good understanding of the character. More than when I wrote the book initially.

I was a baby writer when I wrote Bryce’s story.

I decided to go back to the manuscript for fact checking purposes. As I was confirming things, I decided to re-read the first three chapters and beef them up. Well, three chapters turn into the ENTIRE manuscript (all 104,000+ words, now closer to 106,000 words). And instead of editing, I pretty much re-wrote a big chunk of the book.

I was editing and uploading a new version every night, but I had to stop that because at some point in time the changes were so dramatic, it affected future chapters and it just didn’t make sense. So, in July, I unpublished book.

Did I change a lot?

Yes, I did.

I also added quite a few scenes and twists. Okay, a lot of twists.

I also changed the ending, or should I say the proposal. I felt the original scene didn’t depict Sofia’s baby sister in the best light. The new proposal scene kicks ass. Given the many changes, it brings everything together beautifully.

It took a lot more time than I expected, but Bryce 2.0 is really amazing. I’m proud of Bryce 1.0, but in the updated version, Bryce’s personality comes through. Same for Sofia’s. I can’t wait for you to read it.

I’m sure a lot of you who bought the book recently or downloaded it during a recent promotion must be thinking, “WHAT?”

Don’t worry.

Once the proofreaders, advance readers, and the Sirens (members of my FB fan group who volunteered to read the new version before everyone else to provide me with feedback) go over the manuscript, I’ll arrange to have a free day so you can grab the newest version.

I’m guessing it’ll be later in August or in September.

I’ll go over Max’s story as well since Xavier’s story will be published soon.

When should you expect a new book from me?

I will have more details coming up.

Let’s just say, Scarlett and her readers will be very busy between September and December (wink-wink).

I also provide updates on future series.

That’s it for now. It’s short and sweet, but I wanted to give you an update.
