I’m staying put in the North Pole. I debated travelling to visit family abroad, but I wasn’t certain. In the end, I’m happy I didn’t because it looks like we might go into lockdown again because of this new stronger variant of the virus that doesn’t seem to want to go to way and now the government is reverting back to some safety precautions. I wouldn’t be surprised if by January, we were back to 100% locked down.

This is so maddening.

Zane’s Paperback

The plan was to have the paperback published close to the e-book, and we were on track for that, however, due to the tight deadlines, the proofreaders and advanced readers couldn’t get the edits to me all at the same time.

I received a batch of edits on Friday and made the corrections over the weekend. I already submitted those two Amazon for the e-book. However, things are different for the paperback.

My assistant China is usually the one who formats paperbacks. Sadly, China and her fellow countrymen in the Philippines are dealing with a category five typhoon. She was able to send me a private message on Friday late afternoon on Facebook before the battery of her phone died.

There’s no electricity, no Internet, and no water where she lives. Also, a pole near her home fell. On top of that, her roof is damaged.

Currently, her priority is survival and the well-being of her family.

I’m not sure how long it’s going to take her to be able to establish communication again.

I can publish the paperback without the handful of errors that have not been corrected, or I can wait until China is back. Other than that, I’d have to figure out on my own how to format these books, because right now, I have no idea and it would take me a few days.
