Happy Labour Day Weekend, sexy readers!
Oh gosh, summer is nearly over.
Ugly cry.
This is one of the worst summers we’ve had in a long time. Usually up here in the North Pole, summers are hot. People (NOT ME) complain it’s way too hot. This summer, no one complained.
It’s was a cool summer. Too cool. And it was quite rainy. I barely wore my tank tops.
We might get a heat wave for an Indian Summer, but I’m not holding my breath. In my book, it’s over.
It’s downhill from here. I mean, winter is coming.
On a personal note…
After spending most of the year dealing with really bad depression and anxiety (to the point where either a family member or a friend checked up on me daily. I also had to distance myself from social media), I’m feeling more like myself. It’s the first time in a very long time.
I’m grateful.
Regardless of my down mood, I kept forging ahead with the re-branding, writing, and marketing-learning.
Bestselling author and mentor Skye Warren was sharing about her own this week. In her case, it’s quite debilitating. I was able to function.
That said, she talked about writing entire books while crying.
That’s pretty much what happened with my last two books.
I’m just about to start a new book in the coming week, and I’ll do so with a much lighter heart.
Like I said before, I’m grateful.
Well, that’s that. Let’s turn that page.
