Hollywood has conditioned us women to react to a man in a uniform. And if that military man is wearing a white uniform, HELLO!
So, here I was in Porto, enjoying this seaside city, when I did a double take. Men in uniform?!
There are many reasons to love a military man––his brazen courage to fight asshole enemies. That, and the fact that a man in a uniform is drool worthy.
I have yet to see a man in uniform in the North Pole, believe it or not. They don’t seem to stroll where I live. That said, I’ve seen plenty in airports when I’ve travelled in America. They usually wear the taupe-coloured or khaki-coloured uniforms.
Porto was my first experience of military men in head to toe white.
Speaking of military men, three of my book boyfriends are former military.
